MEDIUM ROPES COURSE
Our medium height ropes course offers the thrill of a high ropes course without the fear of heights being an issue. There are seven sections in this obstacle course that will test your fitness, your balance and your courage.
Our ropes course is available only on long weekends and school holidays.

ABSEILING
Murphy’s Creek Escape has two main escarpments within its boundary. These offer excellent facilitation of beginner groups, search and rescue training and social groups such as scouts, guides, cadets etc. White Mountain State Forest also offers excellent climbing conditions for the more experienced.
Cost: $20 per person – 2 hour session
Abseiling is offered on Saturdays throughout the year, and as scheduled during peak times (long weekend and school holidays).

GIANT SWING
Unfortunately we have had to close our famous flying fox due to safety concerns.
We have however had a GIANT SWING built to replace it. The Giant Swing offers a thrilling swing out over the canyon. You can view videos of this on our Facebook page.
Cost of Giant Swing: $15 for two. We find people like to test the safety of the equipment on their first swing and most often, don’t chose to go to the maximum height. We offer two swings to allow everyone the opportunity to gain confidence and go to the max.
The Giant swing is offered on Saturdays throughout the year and as scheduled during peak times (school holidays and long weekends).

HIKING
Gear on and water bottles at the ready, the 100,000 acres of National Park to the rear of Murphys Creek Advenures is the perfect location for hiking activities. The undulation of the land, the density of the woodlands and the variety of amazing locations within the National Park all add to the experience of hiking on our camps.
Please note we do not have access to the National park at this present time.

ARCHERY
Archery is a static activity that requires participants to complete an 8 step process in order to achieve success. Our instructors use a methodical instructional style to introduce the 8 steps and walk participants through them slowly. The result is accurate shooting and an understanding of the benefits of a systematic approach to anything you put your hands to.
This activity will develop an orderly and methodical approach, use of processes, discipline, competitive fun and an ability to follow directions.
Cost: $8 per person – 1 hour session
Archery is offered on Saturdays throughout the year and as scheduled during peak times (school holidays and long weekends).

MOUNTAIN BIKING
We have a mountain bike track built into the side of our ridge. Offering over 2 kilometres of riding in a giant loop, the track has been given the thumbs up for expert mountain bikers. Mountain Biking does not require high levels of fitness or endurance, rather it requires the rider to assess the course of least resistance and make quick decisions.
BYO bikes.

SWIMMING
Our swimming hole and creek are currently dry due to the ongoing drought conditions.
Our Facebook page is the best place to get up to date information on the creek conditions. If in doubt at time of booking, ask reception.
We are building a large fish pond in October 2020 (finished in November 2020) that will allow the opportunity for swimming all year around. You will also be able to snorkel and admire the fish. This will be an eco billabong providing a sanctuary for our native wildlife during dry seasons. It will have a natural filtration system and requires plants and fish to assist the mini-ecosystem. Guests will not be able to wear sunscreen whilst in the pond.
