A. Yes, we do allow day visitors. Day visitors aged 4 years and up incur a fee of $7 and dogs-on-lead are $1 additional to access everything our park has to offer. If you are visiting someone who is camping, you will be charged a fee if you are on site for more than two hours. If you wish to use the Ecopool, swim in the creek, etc you will have to pay the fee regardless of time on site. Friends of campers are NOT welcome to use our facilities free of charge.
A. Check in and check out for general campground guests is 11am. The office no longer opens prior to 11 am so this time is firm.
Check in for the Luxury tents is 2pm and check out is 10am.
A. Create a group name and write this in the comments section when booking.
When we receive your booking we will place you next to each other and link your bookings together.
A. No, you are required to come to reception and check in before you occupy a site.
If we are heavily booked, we will allocate a site to you. If we can, we will allow you to choose a site in the area you have booked.
Please let us know at time of reservation if you would like a particular site and we will do our best to reserve it for you.
Despite requests for specific sites, Management reserves the right to change your site (prior to your arrival).
A. Yes, a late arrival can be arranged. The whiteboard out the front of reception has a late arrivals box (look for the White Rabbit poster) where we will leave you a map, a key (if required) and your site allocation.
A. Yes, we have laundry facilities in both the amenity blocks. Washing machines and dryers are coin operated.
Clothes lines are also available at the back of each building.
A. Yes, we have a camp kitchen located in the centre of the campground.
This is equipped with an electric BBQ, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, stainless steel benches and sinks, picnic tables and communal fire pit.
A. Tarps are allowed above ground level for shelter on your campsite.
We do not permit tarps to be placed on the grass, please only use shade cloth or breathable mats.
A. Yes, we are a natural bush setting; this is their home. We have several species of snakes, venomous and non-venomous. Goannas are often seen roaming the campground. Please do not approach or feed the goannas.
We do ask that you use the bins provided and do not leave any rubbish or food scraps lying around your site. Goannas, possums and scrub turkeys all enjoy your scraps. All snakes and goannas should be left alone to go about their business. Dogs and goannas can prove fatal to each other so remember to always keep dogs on leash and under your control.
A. Our swimming hole is no longer spring fed and therefore dependent on rainfall. If you are booking here specifically to go swimming in the creek, we recommend you call first to check conditions.
Our Facebook page is also a good way to keep up to date. We do have the Ecopool now which operates all year round as an alternative swimming option.
A. We can hear coal trains in the campground at times during the day and during the night. Some people love the low rumble and others don't. If you think the low rumble of trains will disturb your sleep, please bring along some ear plugs.
A. Yes, we have a very basic shop in reception. We sell ice, basic grocery items, cold drinks, ice creams and firewood, kindling and gas refills.

A. Yes, however we do not permit ground fires on our standard bushland, powered or canyon top sites.
You are required to either bring your own brazier or you can hire a fire drum from us for a small additional fee.
By law, you must obey any fire bans when in place.

A. Yes, we have bags of split hard wood and kindling available for purchase.
Please ensure you arrange this during shop hours.

In the interest of privacy, safety and security it is mandatory for us to know who is on the property at all times.
Any person who has not registered or checked in with reception, may be trespassing and therefore may be asked to leave.
Whether you are camping with a group or on your own, no other person can register for you.
A. No, due to council regulations, our policy is one family per site. Group sites are available for multiple family bookings.
A. We are bound by council restrictions as to how many people we can have on site at any one time.
If we are fully booked, unfortunately we cannot add extras to sites, nor can we create a site for them.
If your site has not reached the capacity set by council, we may be able to add a friend or two. Call reception to discuss.
A. Yes, dogs are permitted, full responsibility taken by their owner. All dogs must be registered at reception. Fees apply.
Note: Dogs must be always on leash.
Dogs are not permitted in the BBQ area/camp kitchen, office, amenities & luxury tent area.
Dogs cannot be left on the property unattended: you go out your dog goes with you.
A. Yes. Other small pets are welcome but must be declared at reception.
There is no charge for pets other than dogs and horses.
A. Yes, we have 2 amenities blocks, both with flushing toilets and hot showers.
Showers are coin operated. One 20c piece will give you 2 minutes of water. You can swap cash for coins at reception.
A. No, the closest dump point is in Gatton. We ask that you do not empty you caravan canisters or portable toilets into our system.
The chemicals used in these systems affect our water treatment plant and create environmental damage. Anyone caught doing this will be evicted and banned.
A. Yes, generators 2KVA or less can be used. This is only permitted during daylight hours.
A. All activities are at extra cost. These can be booked prior to arriving or on check in.
Archery, the giant swing and the medium ropes course are available during structured sessions on Saturdays, long weekends and school holidays.
We have strict age restrictions in place for the safety of all our participants.

A. We do not refund; however we will transfer your reservation over to another suitable date within 12 months.
We require 24 hours-notice of a cancellation to be able to offer credit. If you decide to leave early under any circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit.

A. Our property backs onto State Forest and the Lockyer National Park where you can walk for recreation purposes.

A. No, our luxury tents are designed for adults only. We can only have a maximum of 2 people per tent at any given time.
We now allow dogs in one of our tents. This is the accessible tent which does not have a bathtub. Dogs must be managed appropriately by owners. Any complaints by other guests can result in the dogs being required to leave.

Each tent has a king size bed, ensuite with claw foot bath and rain shower, bathrobes, hair dryer, linen, day bed, table & chairs, firepit, electric blanket, heater in winter and a fan in summer, gas BBQ, fridge, kettle, glassware, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and tea and coffee facilities.
NB: Our accessible tent does not have a bathtub.
A. We would recommend you pack insect repellent, citronella candles, a torch, food & drinks, personal belongings and clothing, book, camp chairs for sitting around the fireplace and firelighters (if you wish to use the private fire pits).
A. Yes all tents have power and water connected.
Due to the luxury tent structure air conditioners are not practical. There is a pedestal fan provide and cool breezes can usually be enjoyed on the deck.
In winter we provide an electric heater, electric blanket and warm robes.
