There will be a maximum of 6 participants per retreat.
Minimum age for participation in our retreats is 18 years.
You will need to organise your own transport to and from Murphys Creek Escape. Our address is 356 Thomas Road, Upper Lockyer.
We suggest you bring whatever you need to make you feel comfortable in a different environment. If you are coming in the warmer months bring your togs and a swimming towel so you can enjoy our creek (seasonal) or Ecopool). You will need enclosed, comfortable walking shoes and a sense of adventure. You won’t need to bring any extra bedding or towels as these are provided for you. Your support worker, if coming, may need to bring their own pillow, sheets and blankets.
A food preferences form will be sent to all participants so you can let us know of any special requirements as well as your likes and dislikes.
We will require a $500 deposit to secure your spot on our retreats. The remainder is payable after the retreat.
You will need to have a NDIS plan that is self managed or plan managed to access our retreats. Please make sure you check with your plan manager before registering for our retreats to ensure the service we offer is covered by your plan.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or uncomfortable please talk to your support worker and/or the retreat facilitator so you can all work out what to do next. Should you want to leave you are welcome to contact the local camp staff and let them know and everything should be fine. Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds if you choose to leave early.
You are best getting food from the local Withcott grocery store only a 15 minute drive down the road. You can get all your meat and vegetables you need in town.
